Easy Choices, Pretty Picks in Handcrafted Jewelry Gift Collection

I do most of the buying for our Tikanchay collection of handcrafted jewelry since I am the one who travels most frequently to Peru, usually four times a year. I try hard to collaborate with my artisans and wear different hats as I make decisions. What would Meg like? I look for clean lines, bold patterns, “out of the box” designs with a good sense of proportion and balance. What would Robin like? I look for more delicate designs, some intricacies in the handiwork and some symmetry. And of course, I look for myself; some romantic designs, some color and movement: dangles and sparkles. My point is that there is usually variety in our collections, so our customers have choices and can find those particular designs that would make an older aunt smile or a young teen swoon. If you have a mother-in-law who is a biker, you will find something for her here! If you have a daughter who is a little bohemian, you will find something for her, too.
